For the Tuna Mixture
  • 1 can Canned Tuna In water for best texture
  • 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise Avocado oil for healthier twist
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha Sauce Adjust to heat preference
  • 1 tablespoon Lime Juice Freshly squeezed
  • ¼ cup Red Onion Chopped
  • ½ cup Celery Chopped
  • ¼ cup Fresh Cilantro Chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce Low sodium recommended
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil Or any neutral oil
  • ½ teaspoon Ground Ginger Fresh can be used
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder Fresh minced garlic for bolder taste

For the Wrap
  • 2 pieces Tortillas Whole wheat, spinach, or preferred type
  • 1 cup Shredded Lettuce Romaine or mixed greens
  • ½ cup Shredded Carrots
  • ½ cup Cucumber Sliced
  • ½ cup Bean Sprouts Optional
  • 1 fruit Avocado Optional
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds Optional for garnish

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Drain the canned tuna thoroughly and flake it in a mixing bowl.
  2. Whisk together mayonnaise, Sriracha, lime juice, soy sauce, and sesame oil until smooth.
  3. Stir in ground ginger and garlic powder into the sauce mixture.
  4. Gently fold the flaked tuna into the creamy sauce.
  5. Add chopped red onion, diced celery, and fresh cilantro to the tuna mixture.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Warm tortillas in the microwave for 10-15 seconds.
  8. Layer shredded lettuce, carrots, cucumber, and optional bean sprouts on each tortilla.
  9. Spoon the chilled tuna salad over the layered veggies.
  10. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll up tightly.
  11. Slice the wraps diagonally and secure with toothpicks if desired.
  12. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving.
