  • 3 oz sparkling wine (Prosecco or Champagne) Avoid overly sweet options.
For the Garnish
  • 1 lemon twist Feel free to use a twist of lime or orange.
  • 1 dash edible glitter Optional for visual appeal.
  • 1 tablespoon sugar For rimming the glass, optional.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Chill your coupe or champagne glass by placing it in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes.
  2. While the glass chills, peel a strip of lemon zest and twist it over the glass.
  3. Optional: Rim the glass with sugar by moistening the rim with a slice of lemon and dipping it into granulated sugar.
  4. In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, crème de cassis, and lemon juice.
  5. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds.
  6. Double strain the mixture into your chilled glass.
  7. Gently pour in the sparkling wine on top of the mixture.
  8. Add the prepared lemon twist and optional edible glitter for garnish. Serve immediately.
