Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Marinate Chicken: In a bowl, combine olive oil with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Add salt and pepper to taste. Coat the chicken thighs with the marinade and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Cook Chicken: Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, and sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes per side. Alternatively, grill for 5-7 minutes or bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes.
  3. Shred Chicken: After cooking, let the chicken rest for 5 minutes. Shred using two forks and mix with your favorite BBQ sauce over medium heat.
  4. Toast Buns: Spread butter on the cut sides of each bun and toast them butter-side down in a skillet for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Assemble Sliders: Place a generous portion of shredded BBQ chicken on the bottom half of each bun. Top with coleslaw and dill pickle chips, and cap with the top halves of the buns.
  6. Serve: Drizzle extra BBQ sauce on top or serve alongside additional sauce. Enjoy warm.
