Ingredients
  

For the Tea Base
  • 8 cups Water Base liquid for brewing.
  • 4 bags Black Tea Loose leaf can also be used.
  • 3 sticks Cinnamon Substitute with ground cinnamon if needed.
For the Citrus Flavor
  • 1 large Orange Consider blood oranges for variety.
  • optional Orange Slices For garnish.
For Sweetening
  • 1 cup Honey Adjust to taste, can substitute with agave.
For Serving
  • as needed Ice Cubes Chill the tea.
  • optional Cinnamon Sticks Garnish for serving.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Boil water in a large pot over medium-high heat.
  2. Add black tea bags and cinnamon sticks once boiling, and remove from heat.
  3. Steep for 5-7 minutes, ideally 6 minutes.
  4. Press orange slices into the tea to release juices and stir gently.
  5. Allow to steep for an additional 15-30 minutes for preferred intensity.
  6. Strain to remove tea bags and cinnamon sticks.
  7. Stir in honey while tea is still warm.
  8. Let the tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight.
  9. Prepare serving glasses with ice cubes.
  10. Pour the chilled tea over ice and garnish with orange slices and cinnamon sticks.
  11. Serve immediately for the best experience.
