- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Beat softened butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time and then stir in vanilla until well combined.
- Mix in mashed bananas until just combined.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring gently.
- Combine peanut butter and jelly in a small bowl until swirly.
- Pour half the banana batter into the loaf pan, swirl in half the PB&J mixture.
- Add remaining batter and top with the remaining PB&J mixture, swirling.
- Sprinkle with chopped peanuts if desired.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
