For the PB&J Swirl
  • 0.5 cups peanut butter choose creamy or chunky

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
  3. Beat softened butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time and then stir in vanilla until well combined.
  5. Mix in mashed bananas until just combined.
  6. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring gently.
  7. Combine peanut butter and jelly in a small bowl until swirly.
  8. Pour half the banana batter into the loaf pan, swirl in half the PB&J mixture.
  9. Add remaining batter and top with the remaining PB&J mixture, swirling.
  10. Sprinkle with chopped peanuts if desired.
  11. Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  12. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
