- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Wash and dry your peaches thoroughly. Carefully halve each peach and remove the pit, placing them cut-side up in your baking dish.
- Melt some unsalted butter and drizzle it over the cut surfaces of the peaches.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and ground allspice until combined. Sprinkle this blend evenly over the peaches.
- In another bowl, combine light brown sugar, all-purpose flour, and rolled oats. Add the remaining melted butter and mix until crumbly. Incorporate chopped pecans or walnuts if desired.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the peaches, then add the crumble topping.
- Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 30-40 minutes until tender and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool for about 5-10 minutes before serving.
- Serve warm, with or without ice cream or whipped cream.
